The R-0125 is an extra wide external vertical component that allows the user to position and nest it into a PRB (R-panel) pattern. It is to be placed next to or overlapping the cutout and then cut to the desired width.
1. Temporarily locate the R-0125 such that it overhangs the rough-in cutout vertical edge while nesting in the R-panel pattern.
2. Mark a line along the rough-in cutout on the assembly.
3. Remove the assembly and rip cut the assembly along the marked line.
4. Rip the part again to the desired frame width (usually 3.5 or 5.5 inches) to create your frame piece.
5. Install the frame piece.
Depending upon the placement of the cut in relation to the R-panel pattern and the width of the frame, it is often possible to use the waste for the other vertical component of the frame. If you end up not using one of our items, it can be returned for a full refund.
